Martsam Travel Agency - Provides guided tours to visit a lot of sites in the area, such as the Maya ruins of El Peru. You can stay at the Las Guacamayas Biological Station nearby. My most recent 2-day experience with them was absolutely amazing and tranquil. The bathrooms, showers and rooms at Las Guacamayas Biological Station were very nice and the meals they provided were very hearty and delicious as well. You can book your round trip transportation through a company in Flores called Recepteros Turisticos Peteneros, by inquiring at Retpa Travel Agency across the street from Hotel Mirador del Lago on Calle de 15 Septiembre and their phone number is : 5175-2263.
They charge a round trip price of Q60 and their departure times from Flores are: 4:30 am, 5:00 am, 6:00 am, 7:00 am, and 8:00 am. They only have 2 return times back to Flores: 12:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Also, you can simply go to the bus station in Santa Elena and catch a bus for going to Tikal. Asociacion de Transportes runs buses to Tikal for Q20 and the departure times from Santa Elena are: 6:00 am, 6:30 am, 7:00 am, 8:30 am, 10:00 am, 11:30 am, and 12:30 pm. They also have buses that leave Santa Elena at 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm, ending in the village of Uaxactun.

Cafe Arqueologico Yaxha - Serves delicious Guatemalan/Maya dishes on their menu and they have a website. Offers free wi-fi as well.
Restaurante y Pizzeria Capitan Tortuga - Serves various Guatemalan dishes as well as seafood and pizza.

Restaurante El Mirador - A small restaurant located beside the public basketball court at the top of the hill in Flores. The lunches there are wonderful and cheap! They offer 2 or 3 different meats and various vegetables each day. Plates consisting of one meat and two vegetables are Q25. Jamaica and tortillas are included.
Restaurant Villa del Chef - The food is very good. The lakeside view is nice as well. Expect a long wait on your food, however.
Cool Beans Cafe Chilero- To me has the best breakfast on the island and offers free wi-fi as well.
